Art classes for ages 2 to 12. Classes explore drawing, painting, collage, and lots of materials! Our sessions focus on developing techniques balanced with open-ended exploration.
We offer “littles” classes for ages 2-5, afterschool classes for K-6, weekend pop-up workshops for ages 4-12, vacation week & summer specialty arts camps.

Cost: $150 for 1 or 2 children with 2 adults // $175 for 3 or 4 children with 2 adults
Families will work collaboratively on one large canvas. Art expertise not necessary. Families will be led through the fun steps of the art-making process.

Owner Rachel Armentano is a Rhode Island based professional art educator who provides meaningful art classes and activities that foster creativity, confidence, and empathy for others.
At this time HCA does NOT host birthday parties. We encourage you to reach out to other local studios: Hammer & Stain (age 8 & older), Island Art Spot, Artful Expressions, Clayground, and Create Color Art Studio.

Rachel Armentano is a professional art educator dedicated to fostering creativity and confidence through art. Her lessons and teaching style encourage an array of critical thinking strategies. A typical session with Rachel, no matter the age, includes multiple art activities, techniques, and materials that highlight the creative making + design process. Young artists create works of art they are proud of and showcase their own personal artistic voice.
