Welcome to the

Collaborative of Children’s Art Studio Owners

Whether your are a New England based children’s art studio owner or from somewhere else in the United States, welcome!

We are so glad you found us. :)

As of this spring (2024), Rachel Armentano of Harbor Creative Arts in North Kingstown, RI & Laura-Marie Small of Kidcasso studios in Newton, Wakefield, and Andover, MA have rallied to bring together children’s art studio owners in hopes of lifting one another and our accomplished studios by networking, sharing resources, and providing platforms for collaboration and support in all aspects of our businesses.

If you are interested in meeting other New England based art studio owners virtually or in person please complete our survey!

If you are not based in New England, please also complete our survey, as we plan to host virtual professional development opportunities and would love to plan according to the most requested time zones.

This collaborative is still in the stage of initial formation. Please complete this welcome survey so that we can find out more about your business and what excites you about being part of this community! The response so far has been one of utmost appreciation & enthusiasm, we can’t wait to hear from more art studio owners across the country and especially those of you in the New England or Northeastern area.

Hooray!!

We are hosting an in-person summit & retreat this June.

Wahoo!!! We are beyond excited to host [what we hope to be] the first of many summits and in-person events.

We have already closed the application period and booked participant spots.

However, we made room to accommodate two more “all in” participants. Please send an email to harborcreativearts@gmail.com and fill out the application (disregard the dates on it) if you are interested in our two extra spots!

No commitment or deposit necessary to apply.

It is being hosted at the MOST fabulous beach house!

More details are provided here.

No deposit is needed to apply.

This summit is ideal for:

  • Children’s art studio owners who have been in business for 2 or more years, preferably in a brick & mortar but if you solely are mobile and super excited to join us please apply.

  • Owners who offer art classes that feature an array of materials, specialty art camps, caregiver/child programs, afterschool classes, process-art based sessions, fun workshops or special events.

This first summit may not be ideal for:

  • New studio owners

  • Those using a paint party business model

*but we still encourage you to complete the survey, and email if you think this retreat sounds great for you.
